The Seward County Community College volleyball team snapped a season-long four match losing streak with a 30-25, 30-20, 28-30, 30-22 victory over State Fair College, in the Lady Saints first match at the Missouri State University-West Plains Tournament in West Plains, Mo. In the second match on Friday, Seward County was upended by No. 14 MSU-West Plains 27-30, 12-30, 25-30. The Lady Saints are now 1-7 against Top 20 nationally-ranked opponents this season and currently stand 26-12 overall. Since starting the season 24-5, Seward County has posted a 2-7 record during their last nine matches overall.

Seward County will complete competition on Saturday at the MSU-West Plains Tournament with matches against Wallace State Community College- Hanceville at 10 a.m. and against Lake Land College at 2 p.m.
