The Seward County Community College Development Foundation is planning its 13th annual party auction at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Seward County Event Center on the fairgrounds. The Silent Auction begins at 6 p.m., followed by the live auction at 8:30 p.m.
This yearís theme is Malt Shop Memories, but participants are not required to come in costume, said Tammy Doll, director of development.
The cost is $20 per person and tickets will only be available in advance until Sept. 20. Individuals must present their ticket at the door. The price of the ticket includes food, beverages, participation in the silent and live auctions and entertainment.
This yearís food will be catered by Moffet Catering of Ulysses and will include pork tenderloin, donated by Seaboard Foods and smoked brisket, sponsored by First National Bank and cheesy potatoes, green beans, salad, dinner rolls, dessert bar and chocolate fountain.
