The Seward County Community College women’s basketball program has helped raise $2,225 for the American Cancer Society with their 12th annual Three-Point Attack. SCCC fans, boosters and parents pledged a flat donation or pledged a donation per three-point basket that the Lady Saints team made this season. It was a record breaking season for Lady Saints basketball as they made a school record 250 three-point baskets this year. The Three-Point Attack donation goes to help support the American Cancer Society research, education, advocacy and patient services. Currently over $800,000 worth of American Cancer Society funded research programs are in progress in Kansas.
