Seward County Community College archery instructor and assistant tennis coach, Greg Scruggs, placed 12th in the barebow division at the National Archery Association Indoor Championship competition. Scruggs competed in the Wichita (North) regional March 9-11, where his score placed him at the top of the regional standings and placing him 12th among all participants around the United States. Scruggs is currently in his sixth year at SCCC, where he is an instructor and also a coach for the nationally-ranked menís and womenís tennis teams. Last year in the same competition Scruggs placed 13th in the nation.


Last fall, Scruggs won the Chicago Land FITA 600. Scruggs has now been competing competitively over the last two years.
