All three Lady Saints will sign National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) letters of intent with their futures schools where they will play during the 2006-2007 season.

Radke, a 5 foot-4 inch guard from Lyons, Kansas, will sign with NCAA Division I University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) of the Mid Continent Conference. Radke was the second leading scorer for SCCC (12.2 points per game) and led the team averaging 4.3 assists while starting in all 32 games her sophomore season. Radke earned Honorable Mention All-Conference during her final season at SCCC.

Radke will join a UMKC program that played arguably the toughest non-conference schedule among Mid-Continent schools this season. UMKC finished the 2005-2006 season with a 10-18 overall record and a fifth place finish in Conference (8-8 record). Radke will play under former Seward County women’s basketball All-American, Candi White, who just finished her second season as an assistant coach for the Lady Kangaroos. White owns the all-time SCCC record for career assists (577), season assists (354) and assists in a single game (16, twice).

Rode, a 5 foot-10 inch three-point specialist from Albuquerque, New Mexico, is signing with San Francisco State University (NCAA D-II) who participates in the 11 school California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). Rode was a Second Team NJCAA All-Region VI pick and a Second Team Jayhawk West All-Conference selection in her one season at Seward County. Rode led the team in scoring (12.8 ppg.) and three-point shooting (80 three-pointers made) this past season and ranks fourth all-time in 3-point field goals made.

The San Francisco State Lady Gators finished in 10th place in the CCAA Conference with a 4-16 record and owned an 8-19 overall record. Rode will join the Lady Gators with a young returning core of 11 players for the 2006-2007 season.

Radcliff, a 5 foot-6 inch defensive standout from Forgan, Oklahoma, will sign with Southwestern Oklahoma State University (NCAA D-II) in Weatherford, Okla., who were the Lone Star North Conference Champions this past season. Radcliff is a two-year player in the Lady Saints program who played in 59 games in two seasons at SCCC. Radcliff averaged five points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal per game her sophomore season.

Radcliff will jump into a SWOSU basketball program that succeeded at a level this past year that had never been seen before in school history. The Lady Bulldogs won their first-ever outright Lone Star North Conference title since the school joined the Division II league in 1997. Southwestern finished the season 16-12 overall and 9-3 in Conference competition.
