Three Seward County Community College/Area Technical School students were recently selected as state SkillsUSA officers.
David Winkler of Plains, Brandon Bruner of Hooker, Okla., and Caleb Crawford of Texhoma, Okla., are new state officers. Each will participate in a leadership conference to determine which offices they will hold.
Winkler is also the local and district vice president; Bruner is the local secretary and district historian; and Crawford is local and district reporter.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. The organization helps each student excel.
