2009 Jayhawk West Coach of the Year and Seward County Head Coach Bert Luallen has released the Lady Saints 2010 fall Volleyball schedule with a number of intriguing dates on the slate. Seward will again start their season at the Lamar Kick-Off Classic August 27 & 28 and will then immediately start their defense of their 2009 Jayhawk West Championship with a road date at Pratt to begin conference play. Their first home match of the season will come September 8th when Cloud County rejoins the Division 1 ranks of Jayhawk volleyball and Garden City will give the Lady Saints their second home match of the week on Saturday with a 2:00 tilt in the Greenhouse. Seward will return to the Wyo-Braska Shootout September 23-25 in Torrington, Wyoming and Scottsbluff, Nebraska and will host their annual Ozfest Invitational with Hutchinson, Midland, Redlands, and Western Nebraska invading the Greenhouse October 8 & 9. The next weekend the Lady Saints will travel to Jacksonville, Florida to take on some of the Sunshine State’s best in the Florida State College at Jacksonville Classic. Seward will wrap up their 2010 regular season with sophomore recognition night on October 27th against Hutchinson in a match that is sure to have an impact on the 2010 Jayhawk West standings. November 2nd the Lady Saints will hope to host a Region VI Tournament first round match and with a win they would advance to the Region VI Final Four on November 6 & 7 at a site to be determined. If the Lady Saints could win the Region VI Tournament, they would find themselves in West Plains, Missouri November 18-20 competing for a ring at the 2010 NJCAA Division 1 National Championships.
