Seward County sophomore catcher Todd Glime has signed on the dotted line with NAIA power Missouri Baptist University. Glime, who has been the Saints primary catcher since the day he stepped on campus has caught nearly 600 innings for Seward in his two seasons and has been a solid two way player for Head Coach Galen McSpadden in both seasons. As a freshman last season, Glime hit .320 with 6 home runs and 29 RBIís while gunning down 10 potential base stealers. This year, while slowed by a nagging injury, Glime has hit .224 but has continued to produce runs with 4 home runs and 22 RBIís and has thrown out 15 base runners at a firm 30% on the year. Glime will join a Missouri Baptist team in St. Louis who is currently ranked 22nd in the country with a 33-12 record. Glime and the Saints return to the diamond today with a double header against top 25 foe Lamar at Merchants Park in Lamar.
