Seward County Saints forward Marky Nolen has been named the KJCCC Player of the Week after a slew of solid performances in an otherwise forgettable week for Seward. Nolenís week began on Sunday as he did all he could to try and help Seward to its 12th straight win but his 20 point, 6 rebound effort wasnít enough in a loss to Dodge City. Wednesday the freshman again came up big as he torched Garden City for 25 points and 12 rebounds, both game highs as Seward picked up the 78-73 victory. Nolen finished the week averaging 17 points and 7 rebounds per game and is currently 3rd on the team in scoring at 12.5 per and leads the Saints in rebounding with 6.2 per game. Nolen and his Saints return to the hardwood tomorrow as they host Colby in the Greenhouse at 8:00.
