Thijin Moses has been named the KJCCC player of the week for the second time this season for his performance on the court in two Seward County games last week. Moses sparked the Saints to a home court win to clinch tonight’s Region VI Play-In game at home for the Saints by draining 6 three-pointers and racking up 23 points and 6 rebounds in the Saints 76-67 win. He followed up that performance with a 14 point effort Saturday night against Butler in the Saints 77-62 loss to the Grizzlies. As well as being named Jayhawk Player of the Week, it was also learned today that Moses was named to the Jayhawk West’s All-Conference Team as a 2nd team selection. He and his Saints will take on Kansas City Kansas Community College tonight at the Green House with the tip scheduled for 8:00. Free tickets are still available at Bank of Beaver City, Seaboard Foods, Stu Emmert, and both Liberal Pizza Hut locations.
