Students at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School who recently participated in SkillsUSA found success at the fall leadership conference in Hesston.
Adam Froelich of Sublette, who is in the college’s drafting program, won his stateman pin and took first in essay/speech.
Crystal Castillo of Liberal, who is in cosmetology, and Josh Pearson of Balko, Okla., Auto Body Collision Repair, took third in the poster contest.
Baldemar Enriquez of Denver, Colo., who is in Diesel Technology, was elected to state office that will be determined during training sessions in Wichita.
