The Seward County Lady Saints moved to 5-1 in conference play last night while recording their 4th straight conference win against Dodge City. The Lady Saints got ahead early and never looked back as they won the first set 25-11 before going on to win the 2nd set 25-18 and pulling out the 3rd set 25-23.

All 13 Lady Saints played in the match, marking only the 3rd time all season thaT has happened. "I like to get everyone involved in a big team win like this" Head Coach Bert Luallen said. "It gives everyone that good feeling and when everyone is contributing like they did last night, it makes my job easy."

Five Lady Saints recorded at least five kills, four Lady Saints notched assists, every Lady Saint had a dig, and seven Lady Saints had a block in the contest.

Seward County now sets their sights on a home match-up with Colby at the Green House in Liberal on Saturday afternoon at 2:00.
