The Seward County Community College softball team improved its overall record to 30-15 overall and its Division I Region VI record to 14-2 with a pair of forfeit victories over Cloud County Community College on Tuesday afternoon in Concordia. The Lady Thunderbirds were unable to field a complete team due to an injury prior to the start of the doubleheader, which gave SCCC its 29th and 30th overall wins on the season. The official final scores for the forfeit victories are 7-0 and 7-0.

Seward County will be in action on Friday, April 18, on the road against Neosho County Community College (9-24, 4-12) for a 2 p.m. Division I Region VI doubleheader in Chanute. The Lady Saints will complete their road trip with a conference and Region VI doubleheader on Saturday, April 19, against No. 9 Butler Community College (35-4, 8-0, 15-1) at 1 p.m. in El Dorado.
