The National Junior College Athletic Association announced its 2007-2008 Fall Academic Teams-of-the-Year in the March edition of the JUCO Review. The Seward County Lady Saints Volleyball team finished the fall semester ranked 8th among all NJCAA volleyball programs with a 3.53 team grade point average. All eleven SCCC volleyball players were named to the SCCC fall academic honor roll, with three student-athletes receiving a perfect 4.0 GPA. Seward County was the highest ranked team from the Jayhawk West, and was second among all Region VI volleyball teams. On the court the Lady Saints also had a successful season finishing with a 30-15 overall record, ranking third in the Jayhawk West Conference and third at the NJCAA D-I Region VI Tournament.
