Student attitudes and habits relating to course materials will be the focus of a campus-wide survey conducted by the Saints Bookstore at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School.
The survey is a part of Student Watch™, a national research project sponsored by the NACS Foundation, a subsidiary of the National Association of College Stores (NACS). Student Watch™ provides insight into college student consumer behaviors.
“We are very pleased to take part in this national research initiative,” said Jerri Lynn Lyddon, manager. “On a local level, the results of the survey will help our store better meet the needs of our customers and evaluate the mix of products and services we offer.”
The survey will be conducted online through an email blast beginning October 12, 2009. A computer will also be available in the bookstore for students to take the survey. One student at each participating campus will win $100 and one student from all entries will take home $1000. The Saints Bookstore is also drawing for prizes, including a DVD player and Logitech I-Pod portable speakers.
