Administrative offices will be open form 7:45 a.m.- 7 p.m., Aug. 13-16.
The Saints Bookstore will open from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 11; 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 12; 8 a.m.-12 and 1-6 p.m., Aug. 13-16; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18.
Evening classes begin Monday, Aug. 13 and day classes begin Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Regular offices hours are 7:45 a.m.-4:45 p.m., beginning Aug. 6.

Want to fulfill your dreams of becoming a truck driver?
Seward County Community College/Area Technical School begins its next six-week Truck Driving Course, Aug. 13.
The course runs from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, plus three Saturdays for CDL, DDC and CPR training.
The cost is $620 tuition, $859 applied course fee and $100 fuel surcharge fee, plus books and incidentals.

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School is offering two new programs this fall: Sustainable Agriculture Resources and Process Technology.
Through Sustainable Ag Resources, a student can become a conservationist or agricultural scientist. He or she will learn how to enhance the quality of the environment and its natural resources, make efficient use of non-renewable resources and help sustain the future of agriculture. Students will work in both indoor and outdoor labs.
The college will offer a two-year associate in applied science degree with specialization in soil science or plant/crop science or an associate in science degree with a Sustainable Agriculture Resources emphasis.
Process Technology involves every aspect of chemical processing: extracting and refining resources such as oil and natural gas, refining chemicals and carefully monitoring the process that makes it happen.
