The Seward County Community College Board of Trustees officially opened its budget hearing Monday, August 1. At the close of the meeting, the board adopted the 2005-06 budget in the amount of $16,681,921. The published budget includes a 2-mill decrease.

The fall 2005 semester begins Aug. 22-23. On-campus enrollment is under way with the final enrollment clinic for new students scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 9. The college has been adding sections of general education classes to meet the growing numbers of enrollment, said Cynthia Rapp, Dean of Instruction.
