The Seward County Community College Board of Trustees met Monday following a ride in the college’s new 55-passenger bus.

The board discussed the development of a Challenge Course, an idea that has been considered for several years. The board directed the administration to study a proposal and implement a Challenge Course as part of the 2006 budget. This course would encourage leadership, communications skills, overall agility and physical fitness and could be used by SCCC students and staff, church youth groups, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, fire and law enforcement departments and emergency medical services, area businesses, area school districts, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and other community agencies, businesses, organizations and colleges.
